Window Installation & Repairs

Window seal repairs are necessary when the seals around the window start to deteriorate. This allows for moisture and air to enter the vehicle, causing windows to fog up, and the formation of mould and mildew to take place. Repairing the window seals can help prevent these problems as well as improve the insulation of the vehicle. The first step to repairing the window seals is to take out the window from the vehicle by removing the screws or bolts which hold the window in place. Once the window is removed, the seal can be inspected and repaired as necessary using a sealant or sealant tape, and be re-installed in the vehicle.
