There are benefits to having an annual habitation check. Your annual habitation check is the best way to ensure your leisure vehicle is well maintained and fit for purpose. It will highlight issues such as damp and faults with leisure vehicle water systems, leisure vehicle electrical systems, leisure vehicle gas systems and leisure vehicle bodywork. This check-up will also highlight any safety issues which may be present within your caravan/motorhome.

You should have a habitation check every 12 months. Some caravan and motorhome insurers require an annual habitation service to validate your policy.
A habitation check is a safety inspection of a caravan or motorhome which is carried out by a qualified caravan technician. As fully qualified caravan technicians, we will check the caravan or motorhome for any safety issues and will make any necessary repairs, having first spoken to you about costs.
The cost of a habitation check varies depending on the caravan technician. At Thornhill Services it is our policy NOT to advertise prices on the website as we have found that people shopping on price are not comparing like with like.
